COVID-19 Coronavirus Update

On 11th March 2020 the World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. As the number of cases started to increase, the UK Government announced all schools, colleges and educational establishments were to close from 20th Marth 2020.

ProVQ followed this guidance to protect our apprentices, our customers workforce and our own staff. To support our apprentices, we have arranged a significant number of distance learning sessions that are delivered live buy our Technical Trainers. The subjects covered vary, with all material cross referenced to the apprenticeships being followed. This allows apprentices to continue to make progress toward becoming qualified. Work is set at the end of the sessions that needs to be completed and returned to the trainers.

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) & the Department for Education (DfE) have confirmed that apprentices that have been furloughed are able to continue with their apprenticeship training. If any of our current apprentices have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact the relevant Training Centre Manager, or your Trainer. Remember, we are still here to support you.

To all our apprentices, employers and clients out there, please stay safe, follow the social distancing guidelines, and take care of yourselves and your families.
