Job Purpose: To provide an administrative function in support of all day to day aspects of the ProVQ training programmes

Location: Atcham Business Park, Atcham, Shrewsbury

Salary: £15,000 – £19,000 per annum, depending on experience

Main duties and responsibilities

  • To deal with general customer enquiries via phone, email and direct contact
  • The completion of day to day office administrative tasks, liaising with customers, learners and colleagues
  • To enter data into electronic records, databases and files (shared drives, backup files etc)
  • To produce reports / management information as appropriate to the role
  • Carry out general administrative and office tasks including reception, filing, telephone answering, data entry, record keeping, printing, binding etc
  • To maintain office resources
  • Awarding Body registrations
  • Awarding Body certifications
  • E-logbook redemptions
  • Assist with funding administration
  • Contribute to the process of continuous improvement
  • Arrange learner and staff accommodation, subsistence and travel
  • Produce and distribute joining instructions to Learners
  • Ensure mail received is distributed quickly and efficiently
  • Actively promote a safe learning environment in accordance with current Safeguarding legislation and company policy
  • Actively engage in and promote Equality and Diversity in accordance with our policy to ensure employer compliance and that no individual is discriminated against
  • Actively support, at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on protection of customer sensitive information
  • Assist in the administration of the learner support services department
  • Promote a safe working environment in accordance with current legislation
  • Promote efficient use of resources
  • To support ProVQ in ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act
  • To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required

Experience

  • Administration experience is preferred
  • Apprenticeship & Awarding Body Centre experience is desirable

Skills and qualities

  • General administration experience is preferred
  • Strong focus on delivering an excellent service to clients
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and using the internet
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
